Hi, I’m Emily, the face behind emily&inks. 

From a young age I have always enjoyed arts and crafts, so when I started using social media and discovered the world of calligraphy I was enamoured! I used to watch calligraphy videos for hours on end and was around age 14 when I ordered my first set of brush pens. I began to teach myself what I had been watching for so long … and apparently seemed to have a bit of a talent for it! After debating for many years if I should turn my skills into a small business, I went for it, alongside my full time job in rehabilitation and support for people with convictions and prison-leavers.

Outside of work and calligraphy I enjoy baking, reading, and bullet-journalling.

Thank you for being here and trusting me with your stationery and fragrance bottles! I am loving this small-business journey and continue to learn something every day.
